Ecosystem Regeneration Artisans

We're so excited to see the Discovery Center's Fall Native Plant Sale & Monarch Fest offering more diversity of native plants with these species that were propagated from the "Mother Plants" at our nursery! If you miss the sale tomorrow (Saturday Oct 10), you can still get these hard to find native species at our upcoming Nurture Natives November Plant Sale !
To provide San Marcos, with a steady supply of native plants and showcase beautiful rain gardens, we host Native Plant Sales on the first Saturday of every month! Follow us to find out more and learn about the 250+ species of native plants we carry. We highlight 3 new species every month to help our customers learn about more native plants and how they benefit the ecosystem!

Thanks to SMTX Parks and Recreation for hosting this event.

Thanks to Inevitable Homegrown for propagating these species!

See our gardens at their WORST and they're still the BEST! Explore rain gardens for yourself during our September Artist Showcase feat. Erin Brown Native Plant Sale

Summer heat is HARD, but our native plant rain gardens handle it beautifully. The beds in front of our house aren't irrigated and we were away for over a week with temperatures of 105F. Yes, it's crispy outside the rain gardens, but harvesting the rain earlier this summer means these gardens are still lush!

Learn how we make the magic happen by visiting us in person during this special plant sale, where artist, Erin Brown, will be showcasing her work.

SNEAK PEAK! The realism of her work is incredible! We're thrilled to host Erin Brown, during our September Artist Showcase feat. Erin Brown Native Plant Sale !
About the Artist:
"I am a Houston-based scientific illustrator with a passion for celebrating the beauty and diversity of the natural world. Inspired by native plants, wildlife, and the ecosystems they support, I create artwork that blends scientific accuracy with artistic expression. My background in microbiology has shaped my curiosity and attention to detail, allowing me to transform scientific research into artwork that invites people to slow down, look more closely, and develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
My artwork will be available for purchase during the September Native Plant Sale and features native plants, pollinators, birds, and other wildlife that celebrate the beauty of our local ecosystems.
Preview my work before the event on Instagram or visit my Etsy shop, Brownies Art Studio."
