Some of our veterans come home carrying wounds that are not always visible. The right support can change everything.
This week’s featured speaker is Steven Cook, Vice President, Board Member, and Director of Fund Development for United States Veterans Service Dogs, joining us on Zoom and holding the nonprofit chair at BNI Networking on Fire. Steven is a veteran himself, and he brings that same dedication to his mission every day.
USVSD trains and places highly trained service dogs with veterans experiencing PTSD, physical disabilities, and service-related challenges, at no cost to the veteran. These are not just companion animals. They are trained partners that restore independence, confidence, and quality of life for the men and women who served this country.
The ideal referral for Steven is straightforward. If you know a veteran who could benefit from a service dog, a business owner who wants to sponsor or partner with a mission-driven nonprofit, or a healthcare or wellness provider working with veteran populations, that introduction matters more than you know.
