Safety training, industry insights and a little SeaWorld fun! 🐬

Three members of our Safety management team headed to San Antonio, Texas, for the ASSP Professional Development Conference, joining safety professionals from across the region to learn about best practices and emerging topics in safety, health, industrial hygiene and environmental issues.

While SeaWorld provided the backdrop, safety remained the focus. The knowledge and insights gained at the conference will help strengthen our safety practices, improve our workplaces and jobsites, and support new ways to keep our teams safe.

Cohort 2, a professional development program for CEI employees focused on strengthening leadership skills, building stronger teams and contributing to a stronger company, has officially graduated after nearly two years of learning and growth.

The cohort spent nearly two years developing their leadership skills, learning new approaches and putting them into practice. Completing the program took dedication and a commitment to growth both at work and beyond.

“As the program manager, it has been inspiring to watch our Cohort 2 complete this nearly two-year leadership journey in the Empower program,” said Sr. Talent Development Partner Lou K. “Congratulations to these exceptional leaders for their commitment, hard work, and growth. Your impact is only beginning, and I’m excited to see how you continue to lead and inspire others.”

Talent Development Sr. Manager Dave R. also recognized the commitment it took to complete the program while managing the demands of work and life.

“I am proud of what this cohort and Lou have accomplished over the past two years. Their dedication, commitment, and the time they sacrificed to focus on their professional development is admirable. I have personally seen and spoken with members of this cohort and can tell they have learned new skills and are applying it in their daily lives. Congratulations to all the participants in Cohort 2.”
