More affordable housing on the way!!

‘After years of planning, San Jose-based developer The Core Companies has officially secured nearly $140 million in city, county and state funding for the Tamien Station housing and retail project, being developed on VTA land in San Jose.
The project, which will include 134 affordable apartments and a subsidized child care facility, will break ground this month. Tamien Station will become the first housing development to begin construction on VTA property in more than 20 years as part of its long-term transit-oriented development plan, officials said.’

Proud builders of the farm!

Few housing developers can say they’ve built a farm in the middle of a city, but we can😎 In honor of , we want to recognize our Agrihood project, Silicon Valley’s first-of-its-kind urban farm community for seniors, veterans, and other community members. This multigenerational affordable housing project in the of Santa Clara was decades in the making and is now taking applications for its 164 senior affordable units. Environmental Business of the Year!!

The Core Companies is honored to be named the Environmental Business of the Year by the Santa Clara County League of Conservation Voters at the League’s 29th annual Awards Celebration and Fundraiser on October 27th.
