Custom dual-swing driveway gate installation in Danville, CA.

This powder-coated steel gate was designed with an arched profile, vertical pickets, circular accents, and lower steel kick panels. Because the driveway slopes upward, both gate leaves were configured to open outward for proper clearance.

The system is powered by two LiftMaster LA500 operators and includes a LiftMaster KPW5 wireless keypad and a Knox Box mounted on the left post for emergency access.

A custom entrance designed to look complete from every angle.

For this San Rafael, CA project, we built a dual-swing cedar gate with a concealed steel frame and matching wood finish on both sides. The system is powered by two LiftMaster CSW24UL operators, hidden inside custom masonry columns so the automation equipment stays out of sight.

We also completed the surrounding stonework and installed matching sconce lights to bring the entire entrance together.

Emerald Hills Custom Ipe Wood Gate:
A hillside driveway with a boulder embankment on one side and a wood fence on the other. A stock rectangular gate was never going to work here, so we fabricated the whole entrance to the site.
Two swing leaves, custom iron frames, horizontal Ipe wood infill. The detail most people miss is the narrow side panel: we cut its lower edge at an angle to follow the rock instead of leaving a gap beside the post, and carried the same board lines straight through it.
Automated with two LiftMaster LA500 operators, one per leaf, so both sides open and close as one coordinated system.

15’ custom steel single swing gate installed in Burlingame, CA.

For this project, we installed a LiftMaster LA500 and paid close attention to the arm geometry. We cut a clean niche into the brick pillar so the operator could be mounted the right way according to the manufacturer’s setup.

Small details like this make a big difference in how smooth and reliable the gate works long term.
