🚧 Equipment of the Week: Double-Drum Roller

Built for one critical job: compaction. The double-drum roller uses two steel drums to apply consistent pressure across fresh asphalt, creating a dense, smooth surface designed to withstand traffic and weather.

With controlled, overlapping passes, the operator creates even coverage from edge to edge. It’s one of the final steps that gives a paving project its strength, smoothness, and clean finished appearance. 💪

EV charging site prep, start to pour-ready. ⚡️

Asphalt saw-cut and dug out, the slab area laid out and reinforced with wire mesh, then the equipment pad formed and tied with rebar. Conduit is stubbed up for the chargers, and every measurement gets checked before the pour.

The concrete gets the credit, but the prep is what makes it last.

Rebar to ready. 🏗️

New concrete driveway, done the right way: full rebar grid tied and doweled into the garage slab and sidewalk, poured, floated, jointed and broom-finished by hand, then taped off to cure. We poured a new front walk pad while we were at it.

What’s under the concrete is what makes it last.

Tear-out to turnkey on a new equipment pad. ⚡

Demo’d the old slab after hours, cut and slurry-backfilled the utility trench, formed and poured the new pad with stub-ups set, then patched it all back with hot-mix compacted tight to existing grade. Demo, trench, pour, pave — one crew, start to finish.
