Summer looks good on Degenkolb. ☀️
Across our offices, Degenkolbers came together for our annual summer picnics—taking time away from the day-to-day to enjoy good food, good company, and a little fun outside the office.
These gatherings are a reminder that strong relationships don’t just support great work—they’re part of what makes Degenkolb, Degenkolb.

A dino-mite season for the Degenkolb Dinos! 🦖⚾
Our Bay Area softball team brought together players from our San Francisco and Oakland offices for a summer of friendly competition against peers from across our industry. The Dinos put up a fight all season long and battled their way into the playoffs—with fellow employees showing up to cheer them on from the sidelines.
Thanks to everyone who played, cheered, and made this season one to remember. We’re already looking forward to getting the Dinos back on the field next year!

Engineers are used to seeing more than what’s there today. We see what a structure, a space, or an idea can become.
Our San Francisco team recently had the chance to tour our new office, currently under construction. It’s still very much a work in progress, but walking the space gave us a first glimpse of the place where we’ll soon collaborate, build stronger relationships, and keep putting projects first together.
There’s plenty of construction still ahead, but the vision is coming into focus. We can’t wait to move in later this year.
Thank you Skyline Construction, RMW architecture & interiors and Summit Construction Management for helping bring the vision for our new SF office to life. We’re excited to see it take shape!

22 interns, one very full summer. ☀️
From site visits and softball games to office socials and everything in between, our Degenkolb Engineers and Ruby+Associates, a Degenkolb Company, interns made the most of their summer—learning on active projects, building relationships, and getting to know the people behind the work.
Because some of the best learning happens outside the classroom—and strong teams are built through shared experiences, curiosity, and connection.

This year, employees across Degenkolb Engineers and Ruby+Associates, a Degenkolb Company () came together in support of Denim Day—raising awareness for survivors of domestic and sexual violence while giving back to organizations making a meaningful impact in our communities. 👖 

Together, our teams donated $5,832.61 to local organizations supporting victims and survivors, with each office selecting a charity meaningful to its community: Peace Over Violence, Home Start, A Safe Place Oakland, SFWAR, My Sister’s House, HAVEN, and New Beginnings.

Denim Day is a movement to stand in solidarity with survivors, raise awareness, challenge harmful misconceptions, and foster important conversations around domestic and sexual violence.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a meaningful success. 💙
