Congratulations to Construction Manager María Teresa Ruiz Salinas and West Field Construction Program Manager Justin Montgomery for all their hard work on this complex and innovative project, which includes 27 truck docks, an advanced Material Handling System (MHS), and construction of a five-story office building in addition to the warehouse.

A warm welcome to The Allen Group, LLC's (TAG's) project and construction management summer interns! We kicked off our summer internship program with a mixer at our San Francisco office, bringing interns and TAG employees - including former interns who are now full-time employees - together in the first of many fun summer events to come.

TAG is dedicated to providing our interns with hands-on experience on a variety of complex design and construction projects (a big thank you as always to our longtime partners San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Bay Area Rapid Transit) as well as mentorship, networking, and social opportunities. We're here to help our interns develop the technical and soft skills they need to succeed as tomorrow's leaders in the industry.

Congratulations to The Allen Group's Next Generation Fare Gates project team! On April 30, 2026, the team received the International Partnering Institute's (IPI's) Collaborative Project of the Year Award (Gold) for their work on Bay Area Rapid Transit's (BART's) $90M, high visibility, time-sensitive project, which has significantly reduced fare evasion and increased safety for passengers and BART personnel.

The Allen Group team oversaw efficient delivery of more than 750 gates at 50 different BART stations, working closely with BART, STraffic America and Claire Kim, and a variety of stakeholders to deliver the project four months ahead of schedule.

Congratulations again to the TAG team: Rajshree, Nicholas, Anjana, Sagar, Tracy, Nicole, and Colby.

What a great evening to celebrate our team’s accomplishment at the Grand Hyatt Hotel at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO), with speakers including SFO’s esteemed Chief Development Officer and IPI Board President, Judi Mosqueda.

Today, we honor the life, legacy, and enduring vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose work challenged our nation to confront injustice and advance equality through collective action.

This artwork, created by our San Francisco office team, was inspired by “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a song deeply rooted in African American history and long associated with the civil rights movement. Its message serves as a reminder that progress requires both the courage to speak and the willingness to listen.

On this Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on Dr. King’s dream and the ongoing work it calls us to continue.
