🌡️ Spring Tip: Clean Your Refrigerator Coils Before Summer Hits
Bay Area temps are climbing and your fridge is about to work overtime. The #1 hidden cause of compressor failure? Dusty condenser coils.
Here's a 5-minute check that can save you a $600 repair:

Unplug the fridge
Pull it out and look at the coils (back or bottom-front grille)
If you see dust, pet hair, or grease - vacuum it off with a brush attachment
Plug back in

When to call us instead:

- Fridge runs constantly but isn't cold
- You hear a buzzing or clicking from the back
- Ice on the back wall of the freezer
- Coils are caked solid (common in SF kitchens with pets)

Your dryer may be “working”… but your vent might not.
Sharing a real job from today (photos): the flexible vent behind the dryer was badly kinked and the exhaust path had heavy lint buildup.

What this causes:

clothes take much longer to dry

dryer runs hotter than normal

higher energy use

faster wear on parts (and yes — it can become a safety issue)

dryer vent/airflow inspection

remove lint buildup inside the dryer exhaust path
