Front-load washer gasket replacement - real before & after 💦

Hello, FixitBay LLC Appliance Repair here!

On this front-load washer the door boot (gasket) had mold, rust and several holes in the rubber. The customer was dealing with:
• water leaking in front of the washer
• bad smell inside the drum
• dark spots and cracks on the grey gasket

We removed the damaged gasket, cleaned the drum and front panel, installed a new door boot, and test-ran several cycles:
✅ no more leaks
✅ no smell
✅ washer safe to use again
