Another whirlwind weekend wrapped up! We ran into plenty of hurdles with material incompatibilities on the laser, but we knew the mission going in and tackled it head-on. Seeing the final results and the pure joy makes every bit of the struggle worth it. It was a true emotional roller coaster of a project, but we crossed the finish line. Huge congratulations to the selects on the USS Chung-Hoon (DDG-93)!

Crafted from leftover building materials, these tokens represent a shared design divided among them. Though they chose to keep their engraved designs separated by command rather than grouped as a whole, they are experiencing this journey together, with each selectee possessing a distinct piece of the picture. A complete picture requires every component. Even when the full scope isn't visible in your future endeavors, focus on doing your part, knowing that as a unified front, anything is possible.

Your dedication to your vessels has been exceptional, and each of you should be immensely proud of your achievements. Stay tuned—more photos are on the way!

Just wrapped up a prototype for the upcoming CPO season for Naval Base Point Loma. While Pt. Loma commands will be the priority, there may be limited availability to assist other commands in the San Diego region. If your command needs any assistance this season, please don't hesitate to reach out!

This piece is built with a deep respect for naval heritage: crafted from white oak to honor the original thirteen naval vessels, it utilizes traditional box joints reminiscent of vintage ammo crates. The exterior features antique brass hardware to match the heritage anchor, paired with a WWII-era typewriter font, while the interior is lined with premium black suede. Instead of using visible hinges, hidden barrel hinges were utilized for a clean, seamless aesthetic.
