Today, Conran and Partners' internationally renowned luxury studio joins DLR Group. The studio carries the legacy of Sir Terence Conran, who transformed British taste with passion for well-designed environments. It will operate as a distinct boutique practice within DLR Group. “[When exploring a strategic partnership], DLR Group gave us a clear answer: more design resources, extended reach, and the platform to grow, without asking us to become something we're not,” says Conran and Partners Principal Tim Bowder-Ridger, on behalf of the five partners.

We are eager to begin this new chapter and see what we do together to deliver on our brand promise.

We joined University of Missouri leaders, Mizzou Athletics, and project partners for the ribbon cutting at the new Memorial Stadium – a $250 million reimagining of the north end zone that doubles as a new front door to campus. We will operate as DLR Group|McFarlane Architects in San Diego – La Jolla, complementing our existing 35-person office in downtown San Diego.
