Why 3 separate connections??

• 1 & 2 are dedicated hot and cold water lines that serve the faucet
• 3 is a dedicated hot waterline that serves the dishwasher
• Two outlets serve dishwasher and garbage disposal independently.

What’s the significance?
- I chose this configuration for
1. Ease of maintenance
2. Ability to isolate each fixture without shutting off the others. Dishwasher/Faucet in case of emergency.
3. The double outlets also serve a purpose as well as a code requirement for separate individual ways to isolate and or service dishwasher and garbage disposal.

Typically we used to use a double shutoff valve but I’ve found them to be unreliable. Although that method is still popular I went with this in case I have to service it later. Saves time and reduces likelihood that homeowners won’t be able to shutoff in case of emergency.

I want to express my greatest appreciation for everyone that is reaching to me and my family during this time. We all have our struggles and when I see people that don’t know us personally reaching out to help my precious Victoria it gives hope and encouragement that she WILL see through this. Saying THANK YOU can hardly convey the gratitude my family has for taking the time to share our experience and contribute to Victorias battle.
