Consolidated Contracting was honored to celebrate San Ysidro Health President and CEO Kevin Mattson at the Legacy Ball in San Diego, recognizing his remarkable 26 years of leadership, service, and lasting impact as he enters retirement.

The evening brought together community leaders, partners, and supporters to honor Kevin’s legacy through heartfelt tributes, live entertainment, and shared appreciation for his dedication to improving healthcare access throughout the region.

Proceeds from the event benefited the SYH La Casita Fund, which provides essential medical, dental, and behavioral health services to children and families in underserved communities.

We would also like to recognize Blue Shield of California for its generous $1 million contribution to The Jacobs Center project, one of Consolidated Contracting’s recent partnership with San Ysidro Health. Their support will help expand resources and services that strengthen our community.
We are proud of our longstanding relationship with San Ysidro Health and grateful for the opportunity to help deliver projects that create meaningful, lasting impacts for the communities they serve.

Following Congregational Place’s Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, attendees were invited to tour the community and experience Chula Vista’s newest affordable senior housing development firsthand. Guests had the opportunity to explore the property, including available residential units, for a closer look at the thoughtfully designed living spaces.

Congregational Place is a new 55-unit affordable senior housing community serving adults ages 55 and older in Chula Vista. Residents will have access to the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), which provides comprehensive healthcare and long-term support services designed to help older adults maintain their independence.

Last week, our team traveled to Chula Vista to celebrate the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Congregational Place!

The event gave us the opportunity to reconnect with valued partners, enjoy great food and refreshments, and take a self-guided tour of the beautiful new community. We also had the privilege of hearing remarks from local leaders and community members, including Chula Vista Mayor John McCann and Vernita Todd, MBA, FACHE, Executive for San Ysidro Health’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

We are incredibly proud to have played a role in bringing this meaningful project to life. Congregational Place will provide affordable housing and essential services that encourage seniors to live independently while remaining connected to their community. We extend our sincere gratitude to RHF (Retirement Housing Foundation) for their trust and partnership in delivering another impactful project that strengthens the communities we serve. We are truly grateful for the opportunity and look forward to future collaborations.

Milestone achieved with another recently awarded project!

This week, we successfully completed the concrete pour for The Goddard School in Norco. When finished, the 10,550-square-foot, single-story school will serve as a state-of-the-art early childhood education facility located in the Norco Village Center.

The Consolidated Contracting team gathered over the weekend at Doheny beach for our annual company picnic. Since our last picnic, our team has grown significantly, making this a wonderful opportunity to welcome new team members, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy great food, refreshing drinks, and even better company.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. It was great to spend time together outside the office and celebrate our growing team.

Yesterday, our team gathered to celebrate Megan Frangente as she concludes her Project Administrator internship with Consolidated Contracting and prepares to return to college for her junior year.

This marks Megan’s second internship with Consolidated Contracting, and we couldn’t be prouder of the dedication, hard work, and growth she has demonstrated throughout her time with us. Congratulations, Megan! We look forward to seeing all the great things you’ll achieve in the years ahead.

Introducing Ontario Mills Self-Storage, our second self-storage project with Northwest Building, located in Ontario.

Last week, we celebrated an exciting milestone with the project’s first concrete pour. The deck pour began overnight and continued into the early morning, marking significant progress on the development. Congratulations to the entire team on achieving this major project milestone!

This new facility will feature three buildings totaling 64,000-square-feet, including:
One three-story self-storage building
Two single-story buildings
A leasing office
Associated parking and site improvements

The project also includes landscaping and enhancements across 1.55 acres of vacant land.
