Doors are officially open at Artea's newest location! 🍵✨
Our architecture and interior design teams collaborated closely throughout the project, working together to shape the space and the guest experience from the inside out. We handled everything from the initial layout and custom banquette design to aiding in the FF&E procurement, with the shared goal of creating a space that feels calm, grounded, and welcoming the second you step inside.

Every design choice was intentional. We layered a quiet, nature-inspired palette with warm woods, tactile horizontal tile, and living moss accents to bring the brand's identity to life. For the dining areas, we designed a mix of seating to fit any vibe, whether you are settling into the curved center banquette or grabbing a quiet window booth. Overhead, the geometric acoustical panel installation helps soften the room visually while keeping the acoustics comfortable during busy rushes.

Working alongside the Artea team at every phase made bringing this vision together an absolute pleasure.

Inspired by inclusion. Built to fight hunger. 🥫⚓️

Our 2026 Canstruction entry, “Beacon of Inspiration,” was modeled directly after the beloved lighthouse at Morgan’s Inspiration Island, celebrating Gordon Hartman and the incredible mission of Morgan’s Wonderland.

Bringing this vision to life using thousands of canned goods was a true labor of love for our team, and we were thrilled to take home the Best Structural Ingenuity award! 🏆

Progress updates from the field! It’s incredible seeing our team's design work transition off the page and onto the site. Excitement builds as we watch Morgan's Hotel continue to take shape, knowing that it will bring much needed accessibilty to the hotel industry. Now those with disabilities can be properly accommodated when traveling to San Antonio, Texas.

Revisiting our 2017 CANstruction Build featuring the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man from Ghostbusters! The team really topped themselves that yaer. Stay Puft looks like he is emerging from the floor of North Star Mall. We are excited to see all the structures built for the 2026 competition.

Luna Architecture is delighted to share a look at our ongoing work alongside the Henry Cisneros team and the Gordon Hartman Family Foundation. Together, we are adding a brand new chapel to Sacred Heart Church to serve and inspire the local community for generations to come.

CANstruction COMPETITION SPOTLIGHT: Our team has entered the American Institute of Architects CANstruction competition again this year! We have been busy raising money for food cans & supplies to build our structure. The food and money raised benefits the San Antonio Food Bank. Thisis our Lucha Libre from 2018, which took home the Best Structure award.

We are thrilled to share the finished photos of our recently completed project: the brand-new Barefoot Campus Outfitter at UTSA! From the striking stone-and-glass exterior storefront to the warm, rustic wood paneling and custom finishes inside, every detail was designed to create an inviting, high-energy space for the Roadrunner community.
