What began as a bad experience with an unlicensed HVAC company thus turned into a successful business between a husband and wife. Jimenez recalls a when his family fell victim to a "bait-and-switch" sales tactic that led to an over-priced service call, and how it made them want to create a company that exceeded these poor-quality companies: "Having been on the customer end before, my family and I

found most companies will show a low figure to get in the door. Only after, they fail to follow through with their promise of a "low-price" once they snuck in hidden costs or additional and unwanted services! I have since committed myself and my company to allow the customers to feel that they received not only affordable but reliable and continual service too. We take pride in answering all your questions and giving you the benefit that you are receiving the excellent service you want. I look forward to handling all your future air conditioning/heating needs." -Tony Jimenez Nearly 13 years later, and that mission has continued to drive Temp Tex towards their goals and helped them achieve fundamental growth within the city of San Antonio! It also helped to create the standards necessary to provide excellent craftsmanship, quality service, and affordable pricing that is widely recognized and recommended city-wide. Did we mention, Temp Tex is not only family-owned, but family operated too? Imagine the extensive HVAC training these boys had to endure to meet Mr.Jimenez's standards! Thankfully, it is because of this family-run mentality that sets Temp Tex apart from the rest. Other popular air conditioning companies try to get as many service calls done in one day, and that is when the service begins to suffer.

Temp Tex is currently seeking Technicians with a minimum 3 years experience in residential and commercial service, installation with sheet metal experience. Must be able to pass a back ground check and drug screen. A clean driving record is a must. It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we; myself, my wife and the employees of Temp Tex announce the loss of one of our own, David Sanchez. David was working his way up to being a technician after starting out as a helper. He had gained so much knowledge in the short time he was employed with us. He enjoyed learning about maintenance and new installs. He never faltered in being there when needed. As with his life, and now in death, he was a true servant. He served and ministered to the youth of his church. He shared that he was grateful he had the opportunity to do that. We were notified that David was an organ donor, and his organs are now sustaining life in others.
He suffered a medical emergency at his home on Easter Sunday. His family had to make the heart breaking decision to allow him to rest and journey home to our Lord. We will most definitely feel the void of his presence in our daily work lives and he will be missed.
Please pray for his mother, his siblings, his girlfriend, Hannah, and his extended family as they face this sudden and unexpected loss. We also pray for Dill, his beloved dog.

Be cautious when selecting an HVAC company. The capacitor in the box failed after a year. Capacitors should never be installed inside their boxes loose in the electrical panel. The photo on the right demonstrates the proper installation method. All capacitors should be mounted in their designated mounting spots. This is a crucial step so that the capacitor can dissipate heat. This helps prevent premature failures. Temp Tex Air conditioning and heating will always make it right and educate our customers about the correct procedures when it comes to your HVAC system.
