There’s something special about seeing our work and our approach to remodeling shared in our own community.

Bringing Your Style Home is all about what matters most to us: creating spaces that feel personal, intentional, and true to the people who live in them.

This bathroom has so much personality, and it started with something the homeowner made himself: the wood vanity.

Kim used it as the starting point for the design, bringing in the blue-green surfaces, copper sinks and warm brass details you see here. The team also changed the layout to make room for a larger shower and a more open feel.

We’re sharing the story behind The Peacock Retreat on the blog, including how this Alamo Heights bathroom came together. Read the full project feature through the link in our bio.

A day of lighting inspiration with the team. ✨

We recently visited Visual Comfort & Co. to explore their collections, learn more about the lighting packages they offer, and see how different fixtures, finishes, and layers of light can shape a space.

Continuing to learn from the experts helps us guide our clients through their selections with greater intention.

Thank you to the Visual Comfort team for welcoming us and sharing your knowledge!

Which fixture caught your eye?

A closer look at this recently completed primary bathroom remodel in Boerne.

The homeowners wanted to replace an unused tub with a larger walk-in shower that would feel more comfortable and functional for the years ahead. The new layout pairs a spacious shower with built-in seating, natural light, custom cabinetry, and a thoughtful mix of soft finishes and matte black details.

Beautiful, yes. But every decision was also made with everyday living in mind.

🎉 It’s birthday week at Bexar Essentials! 🎉

We’re celebrating two pretty amazing women this week — Kesha, our Project Manager, and Jen, our Marketing Director! 🥳💕

Kesha keeps our projects moving, our details handled, and somehow manages to keep all the moving pieces (and people 😂) headed in the right direction.

And Jen is usually behind the camera, capturing the transformations, telling our story, and making sure all the beautiful work our team does gets seen!

They each bring something completely different to Bexar Essentials, and we are incredibly grateful to have both of them on our team. ❤️

Please help us wish Kesha & Jen a VERY Happy Birthday! 🎂🎈🎉

Here’s to another year of beautiful projects, lots of laughs, and probably a few jobsite shenanigans along the way! 😂

Happy Birthday, ladies! We love and appreciate you both! 🐻💕

The finished space matters, but so does the experience of getting there.

Hearing our clients reflect on their remodeling journey means so much to our team. Every detail, conversation, and decision is centered around creating a home that works beautifully for the people who live there.

Welcome to The Peacock Retreat 🦚

There is something especially meaningful about creating a space that holds a piece of the homeowner within it.

The beautiful wood cabinetry you see here was handcrafted by the homeowner himself. As a talented woodworker, he was incredibly proud of what he created, and we wanted the rest of the room to honor his craftsmanship rather than compete with it.

Rich, peacock-colored stone, warm brass, copper sinks and thoughtful details came together around his work to transform this once-dated bathroom into a retreat that feels collected, personal and completely their own.

This is what we love most about remodeling. It is not simply about making a room beautiful. It is about listening to the people who live there, preserving what matters to them and creating a home that tells their story.

Beauty is Expected. Functionality is Intentional.

Around here, Wednesdays are for walkthroughs.

Yesterday, Kesha and I spent the day visiting our current projects, checking progress and making sure the details were being handled the way they should be.

But Walk Through Wednesday isn’t just about seeing what’s been completed.

It’s about catching the little things. Communicating with our trades. Answering questions. Staying ahead of what comes next. And most importantly, making sure our homeowners have someone on their side throughout the entire process.

That’s a big part of Kesha’s role as our Project Manager.

She’s there to advocate for our clients, keep communication moving and make sure they aren’t left wondering what’s happening with their home.

Because remodeling is already a big undertaking.

Managing the remodel shouldn’t have to become your job, too.

That’s why Walk Through Wednesdays matter.
