Before you hire a fence contractor, ask these 4 questions to make sure you’re getting true value, not a future headache:
1️⃣ "What grade of lumber are you using?" (this determines what you pay for, number 2 is the better grade)
2️⃣ "How deep will the posts be set, and are you using concrete?" (Shallow posts = leaning fence.)
3️⃣ "Is your company insured and vetted? If so, how are you vetted?" (Protect yourself from liability.)
4️⃣ "What does your installation warranty actually cover and how long have yall been in business?" (If it leans next year, will they answer the phone?)

Welcome to a compilation of fence contractor shortcuts. We've seen them all! Fences leaning after a gust of wind, pickets twisting into pretzels, and metal gates rusting apart before in their first year.

To make sure your backyard doesn't become a meme, you need to know exactly who you're dealing with before any digging starts. Save yourself a massive headache and ask your contractor these 6 essential questions:
1. How deep are your posts going, and how do you pour your concrete?
🕳️ (Shallow posts and dry-stacked concrete are the top reasons fences fall.)
2. What species and grade of lumber are you using?
🪵 (Cheap interior wood will warp and cup immediately in the Texas heat.)
3. How do you prepare steel surfaces before coating?

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Yesterday, we brought the team together for an employee appreciation cookout! We fired up the grill, took a break to enjoy each other's company, and celebrated all their hard work.

🎉Project Completed 🎉

Another clean residential install in the books ✅

This project came in at 93’ of fencing with 15 posts, built to match the existing fence line, including a custom bottom gap per homeowner request. We also worked around the existing tree to keep the natural look intact without sacrificing strength or finish.

Every yard is different, and we take the time to build it right 👍
