A huge thank you to Marel M. and her family for letting me reface their kitchen. Their home had the original cabinets built in 1967 but the cabinet carcasses were in great shape so I made new drawers, doors, and drawer fronts. It came our BEAUTIFUL!

How Much Does Cabinet Refacing Cost and what is it?

Cabinet refacing is simple. I use your existing cabinetry, in place but I remove the doors and drawer fronts, the face frames of the cabinets get painted, and then I make brand new doors and drawer fronts while fixing or replacing any broken drawers or shelving while I'm at it. Whay you end up with is a kitchen with a completely new look for far less than kitchen cabinets cost.

How much?
Industry standard for ALL NEW cabinets ranges from $600 to $1,000 a foot (built, installed, and finished). That means a kitchen with 10 feet of lower cabinetry and 10 feet of wall cabinetry would be in the neighborhood of $12,000 to $20,000

Refacing costs a fraction of that and takes days instead of weeks. Most smaller kitchens like the one mentioned above come in around $4k.
