Jones Family Tree Service

Thank you, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office! 🙏
Our yard has been targeted over the past several months, and HCSO has stepped up with extra patrols. We’re grateful.
A little behind-the-scenes: people sometimes assume a yard full of equipment means a business rolling in money. The truth is nearly every machine you see is financed, and what we earn goes back into our crew and our gear so we can serve this community better and more efficiently each season.

We hire local, pay competitive wages, and carry full workers’ comp and liability insurance. We’re building this for the long haul, and we’re proud of it.

If you see anything suspicious around our yard or anywhere in the community, please call it in. You can reach the Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251 or its crime tip line at (707) 268-2539.

With Love & Care,
Marie, Ben & the Jones Family Tree Service crew 🌲

🎃 It’s spooky season, but hiring an unlicensed tree service shouldn’t be what scares you.
A business license isn’t a contractor’s license. If an uninsured worker gets hurt or a tree hits your house, the liability could land on you.
Ask for a CSLB license number and proof of workers’ comp. Verify at cslb.ca.gov. 🌲

We started this business to be close to home. There are still stretches of long-distance work, and Ben may work more hours now, but for three years in a row he’s been home to bring our eldest balloons on her birthday.
A far cry from him leaving the fire line to be home the day I went into labor with her, then back to suppressing starts in SoCal from Santa Ana winds two weeks postpartum. He was still with the Forest Service when our youngest was born, and closer that time. We were living at the FS station, but back to work two weeks postpartum so we could launch Jones Family Tree Service that fall.
What a life. Blessed we can still be serving our community while staying closer to home. Can’t believe our oldest is 8. Happy birthday to our sweet, resilient, tenacious little mountain princess. 🎈

Happy Father’s Day! Most of our crew are Dad’s. They wake up early, show up, and are some of the hardest honest workers we know. Then they go home and do their second and most important job. We’re proud and thankful you’re here in our community, on our team, and most importantly there for your family!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads, the Grand Dads, the uncles, the honest men that show up and step in to lead the next generation. The world wouldn’t be the same without you we appreciate you!
