•STRUCTURAL SUPPORT INSTALL•
•FOUNDATION REPAIR PREPARATION•
This is not a project your typical contractor can tackle. Did you know, we are both LICENSED and INSURED!
We take pride in tackling challenging projects that require precision, proper planning, and attention to detail. Our latest project involved a residential home experiencing foundation failure, requiring additional structural support before proceeding with major foundation and drainage work.
🔩 PROJECT DETAILS:
Our team successfully installed an 18-foot steel I-beam supported by three round steel basement support columns on 6 foot centers. following the specifications provided by the project’s structural engineer.
The purpose of this installation was to provide additional support beneath the home’s floor joists and help protect the structure in the event of further foundation wall movement or failure during the upcoming excavation process.
With the existing foundation already showing signs of failure, it was extremely important that the necessary structural support be installed before beginning work along the exterior foundation wall.
🚧 WHAT’S NEXT FOR THIS PROJECT?
This is only the first phase of the project!
Our crew will be returning to begin the next stage, which involves excavation along the back side of the home to approximately 6 feet deep for the planned French drain installation and foundation drainage improvements.
The goal of this next phase is to help manage water around the foundation and address drainage concerns contributing to the property’s structural issues.
By completing the engineer-specified support installation first, we’re taking a carefully planned approach to the upcoming work. Needing a team who can do it all? Let us help you sleep better at night knowing you don’t need multiple contractors for all your projects.
