Pumpkin Spice season? At SameDay, we call it humidifier season.

As Utah furnaces start kicking on, so does that familiar dry fall and winter air. But we still hear the myth that adding a whole-home humidifier can create excess moisture that damages your furnace.

So, we asked Andrew to clear the air.

Labor Day weekend brings a full slate of festivals, sports and holiday events across the state:

Friday

Midway Swiss Days fills the town square with artisan vendors, Swiss food and live entertainment. The Ogden Raptors take on the Glacier Range Riders at Lindquist Field, and the Salt Lake Home Expo opens at the Mountain America Expo Center.

Saturday

Snowbird's Oktoberfest continues with bratwurst, pretzels and tram rides. BYU opens its football season against Utah Tech at LaVell Edwards Stadium. Real Salt Lake hosts LAFC at America First Field, and the Great Pottery Throwdown competition runs at SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem.

Sunday

The Park Silly Sunday Market takes over Historic Main Street in Park City. Garden City hosts the Bear Lake Labor Day Celebration with fireworks over the water, and the Fleece 'N Feed Family Fun Day brings farm animals and local vendors.

Labor Day

Park City's Miners' Day features a pancake breakfast, parade and the Running of the Balls on Main Street. Sundance Mountain Resort holds its Labor Day Mountain BBQ with discounted chairlift rides and a mountaintop patio buffet.

Sometimes we’re putting salt in the water softeners. Today, we’re putting a little Maldon on the BBQ.

Our techs spend their days going home to home, day to day, keeping Utah comfortable. So we brought the grill to the warehouse and let the grill masters handle the rest.

Good food. Good shop talk. Great techs.

Back-to-school means fall weather is right around the corner. So before the temperatures drop, it’s a good time to make sure your furnace is ready.

What does an Ultimate Tune-Up actually mean?

It means we don’t just give your furnace a quick once-over. We go through the system from top to bottom to make sure it’s safe, clean, efficient, and ready for the season.
