At this home we thinned trees to make the driveway more accessible for emergency response and we removed shrubs in the immediate zone (0-5 feet from structure) to ensure this zone is non combustible.
To prepare this homeowner for wildfire season we reduced the fuel load around the home by thinning trees and vegetation. This will minimize the intensity of fire traveling towards the home.
Near this homeowner’s driveway we did a 50% fuel reduction which will reduce the amount of embers that could create new fires as they are blown ahead.
