Helpful Handle

Helpful Handle Helpful Handle is clever, strong, and adaptable. Hudreds of uses. HelpfulHandle.com Helpful Handle is patent pending product I invented and sell.

I am a woman, Native American / Latina, and a service disabled veteran. I am also a professional whitewater river guide. Through my adventurous experiences I saw many reusable water bottles get broken or lost because the standard attachment points are poorly designed. So, I invented a water bottle accessory that can be attached to almost any reusable water bottle or closed topped coffee mug. It gi

ves the vessel a carabiner clip handle that can be quickly and easily attached to a belt, shoulder strap, bicycle, or almost anything. Compared to other water bottle carriers / accessories; It has a very unique design with many benefits. Hydro Handle will help people to be more environmentally responsible by enabling them to easily carry their own re-useable vessel vs using disposable products. It will also help prevent loss of water bottles (and that sentimental sticker collection). I took Hydro Handle from a thing made for personal use to a full fledged business because I am passionate about social and environmental justice. I started this because I want the wealth to generously fund these causes. So, 90% of all profits from sales of Hydro Handle are dedicated to programs that empower these important issues. People don't need lots of money to be happy they need community. I want to break the greed paradigm and shake up the business world by setting an example on how business owners can change the world by generously giving profit back to communities and the planet. The owner/inventor of Hydro Handle is a "Warrior Rising Vetrepreneur", woman, minority, and an adventure guide.

Your dad wants one.
Every purchase of a Helpful Handle supports a woman-owned, Native American-owned, disabled veteran-owned small business built from a dream, a river, and a whole lot of grit.

I created Helpful Handle as a whitewater river guide, tradesperson, and inventor because I needed a better way to carry gear. What started as a simple solution has grown into a product with hundreds of uses and a mission to make life a little easier for everyone.

This Father’s Day, grab one for the dads, grandpas, adventurers, builders, anglers, campers, and hard-working legends in your life.

And here’s my challenge to you:

👇 Tag a retailer that should be carrying Helpful Handle.

Cabela’s? Bass Pro? REI? Scheels? Ace? Your favorite local outdoor shop?

Every comment, share, and tag helps this little invention reach the people who need it most.

Because everyone has stuff to handle. 💜

Today I’m standing outside Cabela’s taking another shot at a dream.

Not because I’m a big company.

Not because I have investors.

Not because I have a fancy office.

I’m a disabled veteran, whitewater river guide, flame effects artist, inventor, and small business owner building Helpful Handle one conversation at a time.

Years ago, the river helped save my life when I was struggling with PTSD. Out on the water, carrying gear every day, I saw a problem and created a solution. That solution became Helpful Handle.

Today, over 4,000 units later, I’m still doing what entrepreneurs do: showing up, asking questions, hearing “no,” and trying again anyway.

If you think Helpful Handle belongs on the shelves of Cabela’s, Bass Pro, REI, Scheels, Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowe’s, sporting goods stores, outdoor outfitters, river shops, ski shops, travel stores, or your favorite local retailer, tag them below.

Every big brand started with one person willing to believe before everyone else did.

Maybe that’s me.

Maybe that’s you.

Maybe it’s both.

Let’s see how far we can take this.

Still pinching myself.
Last week I had the honor of taking 2nd Place at the DAV Patriot Boot Camp Pitch Competition with my invention, Helpful-Handle.

As a disabled veteran, river guide, tradeswoman, and founder operating my business out of a shark-shaped van, this journey hasn’t exactly followed the traditional startup playbook.

Helpful-Handle was born from a simple problem: carrying gear sucks. I wanted a better way to handle the things we carry every day. What started as an idea on the river has now grown into a product with thousands of units in the world and hundreds of uses.

None of this would be possible without the incredible mentors, staff, sponsors, and fellow veterans of DAV Patriot Boot Camp. The knowledge, encouragement, and community I found there were worth far more than any prize money.

Congratulations to the 1st and 3rd place winners as well. The future is bright when veterans continue to build, invent, and lead.

This is only the beginning.

Every day more people discover that everyone has stuff to handle.

What would you handle with Helpful-Handle?

I am a service-disabled United States Air Force veteran, whitewater river guide, tradesperson, and inventor. Helpful Handle was born from years of working in demanding environments where I was constantly carrying water bottles, ropes, tools, safety equipment, and outdoor gear.

Like many great products, Helpful Handle started with a simple problem. I was frustrated by the awkward ways people carried large water bottles and equipment. Existing solutions were often uncomfortable, limited to a single use, or prone to failure. I wanted one simple tool that could securely carry, organize, attach, and bundle a wide variety of items.

After developing and testing prototypes in real-world conditions, I launched Helpful Handle and began selling directly to consumers. Since then, I have sold thousands of units and received enthusiastic feedback from outdoor enthusiasts, tradespeople, travelers, parents, adaptive users, and everyday consumers who continue to discover new applications for the product.

As a veteran-owned, woman-owned, and Native American-owned business, I have worked to grow Helpful Handle through grassroots marketing, outdoor events, industry networking, and direct customer engagement.

Most recently, Helpful Handle earned 2nd Place in the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Patriot Boot Camp pitch competition, where the product was recognized among veteran-owned businesses for its innovation, market potential, and founder story.

My goal is to build Helpful Handle into a globally recognized utility brand while creating a business that gives back. Through innovation, manufacturing partnerships, and expanded distribution, I hope to bring this simple but powerful tool to people around the world.
