A chimney is a hole in your roof, and its flashing is the most common leak point on any home that has one.
That metal takes the worst of the weather. It heats and cools with the chimney, and the sealant around it dries and cracks over the years. The clue is usually inside: a stain or dark mark on the wall or ceiling beside the fireplace almost always means flashing, not shingles.
From the ground, check where the chimney meets the roof. Sealant pulling away or metal lifting is the thing to spot. Leave the ladder to us.
Failing flashing is a repair, not a new roof, and we'll tell you when a repair is enough instead of pushing a replacement. Free in-person inspection, and on call 24/7 for active leaks.
