We made some progress this week on a new project we started for a local church in China Grove. This week we laid out the location for their future parking lot and removed the top soil. We then excavated the Steep-bank adjoining the road to create a drivable construction entrance. We covered the new construction entrance with geo textile fabric and 8 inches of class a stone in accordance to the DOT plan. When the ground dries out this upcoming week, we will be cutting in and installing a new construction driveway from the new entrance to the new parking lot location. We will then be installing and compacting 6 inches of recycled ABC to build a solid base for the new parking lot!

At this project we filled in a pond that had been on this property in Concord NC for decades. We imported and spread 102 dump truck loads of dirt to build a beautiful yard for this land owner and give his grandchildren a safe place to play.
