Behind the scenes of our work in Beverly, MA.

With the walls and ceiling still open, you can really see the spray foam coverage throughout the space. It’s a great look at the kind of work that eventually gets hidden once the walls go up.

Projects like this are a good reminder that what happens before the finishing touches can make a big difference in how the space feels later on.

Yes, insulation can be installed around existing electrical wiring, but it’s one of those areas where the details really matter.

The insulation needs to be installed carefully around wires and electrical components to help avoid gaps while keeping everything safe and accessible. It’s not about squeezing material into every open space. It’s about doing the job properly.

Corners may look simple, but they can be some of the trickier spots to insulate properly.

Framing can create tight spaces and hard-to-reach areas where gaps are easier to miss. Taking the time to get those details right helps the insulation do the job it’s meant to do.

It’s a small part of the project, but details like these matter once everything gets covered up.

Myth or Fact: Every part of a house needs the same insulation?

Myth! Different parts of your home have different needs. What works well in an attic may not be the best choice for a basement, wall, garage, or another area.

That’s why there isn’t one insulation material that makes sense for every space. The right choice depends on the area, how it’s built, and what you’re trying to improve.

Here’s a look at one of our projects in Danvers, MA.

Attics may be tucked away and out of sight, but the work done up there can play an important role in how a home performs. For this project, spray foam was applied along the roofline and other attic areas, working around the existing framing and ductwork.

Not every project comes with wide-open spaces, and that’s where attention to the details really matters.

Not sure if your old insulation needs to come out before adding something new? The answer is, not always.

If it’s still in good condition, it may be able to stay right where it is. But if it’s wet, damaged, or contaminated, removal may be the better option. It really comes down to what’s happening in your home and what the space needs.

Mineral wool feels a little different from other insulation materials, and there’s a good reason for that.

It’s made from volcanic rock and slag, creating a dense, fibrous material that can help with thermal performance and sound control. It’s also naturally fire resistant, which makes it a useful option for many types of projects.

Every material has its strengths. The key is choosing the one that makes sense for the space.

A smooth insulation job starts before the insulation crew even gets to work.

Having the space ready, making sure other trades have finished what they need to do, and keeping the work areas clear can make a big difference. Good communication and planning help everyone stay on schedule and keep the project moving.

For builders and contractors, a little coordination upfront can save a lot of headaches later.

Did you know cellulose insulation starts with recycled paper?

Instead of ending up as waste, recycled paper can be turned into insulation that helps make homes more comfortable and energy efficient. It’s a great example of giving everyday materials a useful second life.

Better for the home and a smarter use of resources. That’s a win for People, Planet, Performance.
