Not every home needs the same type of insulation. Different spaces call for different materials, and each one has its own strengths.

Open cell can help with air sealing and sound control. Closed cell offers a higher R-value and moisture resistance. Cellulose is a recycled-content option, mineral wool is great for fire resistance and sound control, and fiberglass can be a practical choice for certain areas.
