Every great season starts at the roots. 🌱

When we first saw this field, it was in need of some serious attention. So we went to work. Revitalized the soil, planted new seed, patched every bare spot, and optimized the irrigation coverage.

The best part of the whole project? Watching students run out onto it for the first time. Built for them. 💚

🌱 Closter Park in East Salinas just reopened after a $10 million renovation. New baseball fields, a skate plaza, fitness loop, amphitheater, farmers market space, and more.

We played a very small part, donating the plants and landscaping for the park's planters. Grateful just to add a little green to something this special for the community.

One garden at a time. 💚

Landscaping isn’t easy work, especially in the heat. And this week has been HOT! ☀️

Electrolytes, hydration checks, and looking out for our crews is key, because safety comes first. And a cold sweet treat is a refreshing way to finish off the day.🍦

Taking care of landscapes starts with taking care of our people. 🌱

We can never thank our crews often enough.

Commercial landscape work is demanding. Early starts, long days, working through the heat, digging, hauling, and managing biohazards, but hey, sometimes you get a quick nap in a wheelbarrow.

The measure of a job done right is that nobody thinks about it. The irrigation runs, properties look clean, the hardscape holds up, and no one calls in a disaster.

Our crews handle that every day and take pride in it. Thank you to all of them.

Irrigation Maintenance Isn't Optional

When you're managing a commercial landscape budget, it's tempting to treat irrigation maintenance as an "if we have time" item. But irrigation systems are mechanical, they run under constant pressure, live buried in the elements, and take on wear every single day. Neglect doesn't pause that process; it just lets small problems turn into expensive ones.

The usual suspects: failed valves, clogged sprinkler heads, and broken or cracked pipes. On their own, each seems minor. Left unchecked, they add up to wasted water, dead or patchy landscaping, and repair bills far bigger than routine maintenance would have cost.

Here on the Central Coast, where water use is closely watched and curb appeal matters for property value, a well-maintained irrigation system isn't a luxury, it's part of protecting your investment.

Routine inspections by a certified team catch these issues early, before they become costly. It's the difference between a quick valve adjustment and a full system repair.

💧 Want to know how your property's irrigation system is really holding up? Our team offers inspections built for commercial properties across the Central Coast.

Many landscapes across California are about to look different. Here’s why.

Starting soon, California’s AB 1572 is banning the use of potable water on non-functional turf (decorative grass that nobody uses). Think medians, parking lot strips, and ornamental lawns that exist purely for looks.

Sports fields, parks, picnic areas, most residential lawns, and turf watered by recycled, non-potable water are safe but expect to see some changes on commercial, industrial and HOA common areas.

The rollout is phased through 2030, and rebates are available to help property owners make the switch to drought-tolerant, water-wise landscaping.

Water waste and chemical applications will be replaced with native friendly gardens that feed our local ecosystems.

Everybody sees the perfect infield. Nobody notices the guys who do the hard work to keep it that way. But that’s just it, a job well done should go unnoticed, because a malfunctioning landscape is the last thing you want to think of when the game is on. ⚾

Shout out to our crews who sweat to keep our spaces safe and beautiful.💪👁️

This one came together the way we like it. Native and drought-tolerant plants, spaced for how big they’ll actually get, smart irrigation dialed in to match, and mulch to finish it off clean.

Once everything is established, this kind of setup can cut water use by up to 60% compared to a standard lawn. Less water, less upkeep, and more harmonious with the ecosystem.

We’re happy with how it turned out. If you’ve got a space that could use this type of update, reach out to us today.

Well, we're two for two. 🏆🌿

We were just voted the Monterey Herald's Readers' Choice Best Landscaping Company in Salinas Valley. After earning the same honor in Monterey County earlier this year, we're feeling pretty grateful right about now.

The truth is, this one isn't really about us. It's about our crew showing up and doing great work and about every client who trusted us with their landscapes. That trust is everything. 💚

So thank you for the support, and for letting us do what we love. We're not going anywhere. 🌱

Some of the proudest moments don't happen on our job sites.

This time of year, we're celebrating the graduates in our crew's families. From high school diplomas to college degrees and for some of them, it's an even bigger milestone: the first in their family to graduate college.

Behind every cap and gown is a parent who worked long hours so this day could happen. Congratulations to all of our graduates, Class of 2026. 🎓
