Every October, we share a post that has nothing to do with plumbing and everything to do with someone who will forever be a part of who we are. 💗
Sandy had a laugh full of joy, a smile that could light up a room, and a way of making the people around her feel loved. She was an incredible mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. To those who knew and loved her, she was truly one of a kind.
We lost Sandy in March 2014, but time has never diminished the love we have for her or the impact she left behind. Her memory continues to live on through the stories we tell, the photographs we treasure, and the moments that still make us smile when we think of her.
She is the reason we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month every October.
Breast cancer may have nothing to do with our industry, but it has everything to do with our families, our friends, our customers, and the people we love. In Sandy’s memory, we encourage everyone to stay proactive about their health. Keep up with recommended screenings, know your body, and talk with your doctor about any changes or concerns.
We also encourage those who are able to support organizations working toward better treatments, earlier detection, and a future where fewer families have to experience this kind of loss.
This year, we’re once again sharing some of our favorite memories frozen in time of the woman behind this annual tradition. We miss her more than words can say, we carry her with us always, and we will continue sharing her story.
For Sandy. Our reason, always. 🎀
