Abel Electric Rooted in faith and driven by a people-first approach that values strong relationships and dependable service.

Our mission is to serve our customers and community with safe, efficient, and trustworthy electrical solutions. 24/7 Emergency Service. Abel Electric was founded in 2009 with one goal in mind, to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth through the construction industry. Our founders, Joshua & Pamla Vandusseldorp had always seen the bad reputation that the construction industry had, and they felt like with the help of Jesus and a few good guys, they could change that. Ever since that day all those years ago, Abel Electric and Abel Ministries both have seen tremendous growth. From wiring around 500 houses a year, to wiring schools, restaurants and shopping centers, Abel has seen men grow on the job, customers impacted, and lives changed. It is evident that when you do work with Abel Electric, you’re doing more than hiring an electrician, your helping grow the kingdom of God!!

This is what Abel is all about... Building relationships, bringing Jesus wherever we go, and going the extra mile. This crew checked off every box.

We had to shorten this review to fit the post, but stuff like this makes us emotional. The whole mission of Abel Electric was to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth. The bible tells us that we are the light of the world, and to let that light shine before others to ultimately glorify the Lord.

Thank you, Aaron for this review.

We had a busy week at Abel, but the main focus will always be our mission to make disciplined followers of Jesus Christ.

We’re grateful to have a space where we can all get together before work starts and have a devotion, worship, and start the day off right with prayer.

“Hey can you unplug the Keurig? We need that cord for the pumpkin.” 🎃

Those thin indoor cords aren't made for wet grass and October rain. Grab an outdoor-rated cord and plug into an outdoor GFCI outlet (the one with the Test and Reset buttons).

Every switch or outlet you see on a wall starts as a box and a run of wire. Our guys map out where everything goes, pull it all back to the panel, and make sure it's right before the drywall ever goes up.

General contractors, we know the drill: drywall's ready and you're still waiting on the electrician. Our crews show up on schedule, pass inspection the first time, and keep your job moving. Commercial electrical work across Columbus GA, Phenix City, Auburn, Opelika, Montgomery, and Lake Martin.

Some sunrises just make you stop what you're doing. Moments like this are a good reminder of who really lights up the world. In Matthew 5, Jesus tells us we are the light of the world, and that a light isn't meant to be hidden under a basket. It's meant to be set where everyone can see it.

We spend our days helping keep the lights on for homes and businesses across Columbus, Phenix City, Auburn, and beyond. But the light that matters most is the one we carry in how we work, how we treat people, and how we show up for our community.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16

🌟Employee of the month!🌟

Matt knows this trade inside and out, and he leads the team the same way he works: steady, focused, and always willing to jump in. Whatever’s asked of him, he takes it on with a great attitude.

His work speaks for itself. It’s clean, careful, and built to last. And the guys around him get better just by working next to him.

Congrats on Employee of the Month, Matt. We're proud of you and very grateful to have you on this team.
