Join us this weekend for a fun chance to experience RC flight. The event features flight demos of all sorts of planes, helicopters, gliders and jets. Want to try and fly one?

Our instructor pilots will be there with buddy box transmitters letting you get to try the hobby.

All are welcome!!! The event is free and burger and hot dog lunch is available for a nominal donation.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTICE!

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE!

With the forecast of likely rain this Saturday July 18th the Electric Fun Fly and Swap Meet has been postponed to the rain date of Sunday July 19th.
The Swap Meet will feature a great selection of RC gear, completed planes plus many ARF and stick build kits. As always a big selection of vintage engines will be offered including an OS FS 120!
Much better weather is forecast for Sunday and we hope to see a great turnout!

Hope we see you next Saturday July 18th fo our Electric Fun Fly and Swap Meet. Expect to see lots of great flying, buy and sell all sorts of RC gear at the Swap meet and catch up with friends.

Alert for RC flyers.

Be sure to check the FAA NOTAM posting for tomorrow covering eastern Connecticut and neighboring Rhode Island. As of now all RC flight will be prohibited from 9:00am until 2:30pm Wednesday May 20 within a 32nm radius of Groton-New London Airport.

Finally a warm sunny day without too much wind! Nice Tuesday turnout of new members, guests and of course the "regulars" for the entire day. Nice to see a great mix of aircraft from vintage glow power to modern electric flyers and or course a few bigger gassers to spice things up.
