Here we have a custom bookcase with a secret. We have done several of these over the years. Some have led to safe rooms, wine cellars and gun closets.
This one just leads to basement storage and mechanical space, but what a cool way to get there.

It’s been a while, I thought I would share some projects that we have done in the past.

We recently completed a bench seat with storage cabinets underneath. These were custom made for a new home builder in Lexington. The plan was to conceal the water main and meters as well as a sump pump.
What was a once unsightly tangle of pipes, pumps, meters and wires is now, out of sight and out of mind.
