Good evening NPF team & associates,

As you might have heard, one of our squad bosses posted several negative comments about our United States government and its Forest Service. Our company does not agree with these negative posts and cannot condone them by employees of our company. We were unaware of these posts until after they were made public and then brought to our attention. The reality is that we are grateful to work with the United States government and its Forest Service and all other government agencies. We employ people of various nationalities and we do not agree that our federal government is racist. All our employees are treated well by all government agencies and are treated the same, regardless of their nationality. We have been working with the government for 25 years and we look forward to continue this work for as long as we are able to do so.

On another note, hope everyone continues having a safe fire season. We are grateful for all our NPF staff is doing in protecting American communities throughout the nation. Your hard work and dedication speaks for itself. Thank you for all you are doing!

Snapshot of our Water Handling operational training today. Was great to give a quick refresher on how to properly run, maintain, and winterize the engines and debut the new Type 3’s. We also ran hose lays to simulate how to do direct attacks and water support. 🧯🚒

Tomorrow we will be hosting an in person operational run down on how to successfully operate and maintain all Water Handling resources.

We will also conduct real life scenarios you will encounter out on the line and how to resolve them. This will be primarily focused on the four new Type 3 engines as well as a refresher for Type 6 engines and Water Tenders.

Send us a DM for the address as this is an invitation only session for all existing/new Engine Bosses and FFT-2 assistant personnel. NPF will be providing catering for all personnel so come with an appetite.
