The finish line is officially in sight.

We’re back on-site in Algonquin, Illinois, tracking the final stretch of this commercial landscaping build in partnership with Peak Construction, and the transformation is coming together fast.

Here’s where things stand on the ground:

Plant Installation: Plantings sourced from Breezy Hill Nursery ranging from shade trees and evergreens to shrubs and perennials are officially in the ground across the property.

Erosion Control & Seeding: Seed and blanket are installed, locking in the final grades and establishing long-term turf stabilization.

Final Detailing: Shifting focus toward punch-list detailing and clean edges to bring this site to full completion.

Big credit to the crew for their hard work and for keeping this project moving forward right on schedule.

Here is a look behind the scenes at the progress on one of our latest outdoor living builds

1️⃣ Dynamic Shade Systems: Construction of the state-of-the-art R-Breeze louvered pergola, offering custom shade and weather protection is underway.

2️⃣ Structural Carpentry: Framing in full swing for a custom pavilion and an elevated Juliet balcony designed to maximize site views.

3️⃣ Hardscape Foundations: Concrete slabs poured to support the high-density load of the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and heavy hardscape
structures.

4️⃣ Vertical Masonry: Installation of the Unilock U-Cara system for custom outdoor kitchen walls and hot tub surrounds.

Building from the ground up in Algonquin! 🏗️🌲

On site with Justin Hodgins, General Manager at A.M. Woodland, for an exclusive behind the scenes look at this commercial landscaping project in partnership with Peak Construction.

Here is what’s happening on-site:

Plant Deliveries: Sourced a wide variety of high-quality plant stock from Breezy Hill Nursery including ornamental trees, evergreens, shade trees, shrubs, and perennials unloaded and ready to go.

Crew Agenda: The team is focused on drilling tree holes and pushing forward with site grading.

Overcoming the Elements: Navigating non-ideal grading conditions after roughly 6 inches of rain this past week, but steady winds helped dry out the site enough to keep momentum going!
