A Piece of New Orleans History Renewed. ✨
Le Pavillon Hotel first opened its doors in 1907, originally known as the New Hotel Denechaud. Today, more than 100 years later, this historic property continues to welcome guests in the heart of New Orleans and we’re incredibly proud that Quillen Construction Group had the opportunity to be a part of its latest chapter.
Our team recently completed an extensive renovation throughout the hotel while maintaining the character and elegance that makes Le Pavillon so unique.
As part of the project, we converted multiple existing one bedroom configurations into two bedroom master suites, creating spacious accommodations featuring a separate bedroom and living room.
The transformation continued throughout the hotel corridors, where our team installed new wallpaper, door casing, door stops, shadow-box trim, chair rail, with accented light fixtures and decorative sconces. We also completed extensive painting throughout the hallways, including the walls, doors, and trim work, bringing everything together with a refreshed, elegant finish.
Beyond the guest floors, our team performed painting and finish work throughout portions of the historic lobby, along with exterior painting, helping refresh the property while respecting the architecture and character that have defined this hotel since 1907.
Projects like this are about more than simply making something look new. It's about modernizing a space while preserving the history that makes it worth remembering.
