Edwin is our Warranty Manager, making sure every Canopy home is taken care of long after the keys are handed over.
When he’s off the clock, Edwin is spending time with his wife and kids. He also loves a good day on the golf course and can’t resist an excuse to go fishing. Around the office, he’s known for keeping things fun, and no one is safe from one of his pranks.
A well-built home doesn’t stop mattering after closing day, and Edwin is the one who makes sure it never has to.

One of the biggest misconceptions about marble is that one splash of tomato sauce will permanently ruin it.

The truth is a little more nuanced.

When marble is properly sealed, it’s much more resistant to staining than many people expect. Wiping up everyday spills like pasta sauce soon after they happen typically isn’t a problem.

What marble does develop over time is etching: subtle changes in the finish caused by acidic items like, citrus, or vinegar. Unlike stains, etching is part of how natural marble ages and develops character.

Marble isn’t the right choice if your goal is a surface that looks untouched forever. But if you appreciate natural materials that evolve with your home, that’s exactly what makes it so timeless.
