A week ago, Phil taught a Norse Pram building class with his friend and fellow craftsman Brian Thorkildson at North House Folk School. I think it would be fair to say that the North Shore is Phil's happy place, and traditional lapstrake boats fit so well into its shoreline. This little boat came jam-packed with special techniques, juicy details, and fun historic facts (thanks Brian!).
Thank you North House Folk School for keeping the boatbuilding program alive and giving your craftsmen the creative freedom to experiment with historic techniques. You created such an inspiring place.
