Thank you to our VFPG Field Leaders who came together from branches across the country last week for a hands-on leadership development experience at APi Group Headquarters in New Brighton, MN.

Led by 3 Summits Leadership, the training challenged our team to strengthen communication, collaboration, problem-solving and leadership through a series of classroom discussions and team-based exercises. A major focus was Leading Self — building the self-awareness, resilience and skills that create a foundation for effective leadership.

At VFPG, Building Great Leaders is part of our standard. Developing strong leaders starts with Leading Self and continues through how we support our teams, serve our customers and strengthen our organization.

The Regional Field Leader Summit brought together field leaders from eight VFPG branches at our VFP Fire Columbus office for a first-of-its-kind event hosted by a single APi operating company. Led by Laura Seitz from APi Group, the summit focused on fire sprinkler operations, inspections, apprentice development, and building stronger field leaders. The group shared ideas, learned from one another, and wrapped up the event with fun LEGO team-building activities that highlighted the importance of communication and working together.
