Another year, another successful IBEW Local 110 Family Picnic at Long Lake Park!

From the rock-climbing wall and bungee jumping to ice cream for days, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

This week we proudly welcomed our newest members into the Brotherhood...

many of them apprentices beginning what can be a truly life-changing career.

We were also joined by Local 294 Business Manager Dave Sersha, who invited any journeyworkers who are willing and available to join his members working in Hibbing. With subsistence pay and numerous unfilled calls, there is no shortage of opportunity for members ready to head north.

Well, this should surprise absolutely no one.

New research found that 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫...

while NONUNION projects experienced cost increases roughly 10 times higher.

Minnesota already knows the formula: highly trained workers, strong safety standards, quality craftsmanship, and projects completed efficiently.

The research backs up what we’ve been saying all along: union labor gets it done right.

A recent study of Sacramento County public works projects found that those led by unionized contractors were more cost- and time-efficient.

Minnesota's 2025 Data Center law was the right step, and again we find our State leading the country!

It's time we build it RIGHT and build them HERE... So our members and their families can get back to work, and the much needed private investment into our communities can begin.

The Southern Fairbault unit cooked up some good eats and had ice cream by the scoop!

It was good to see so many friends and family from the southern half of our local. Ton's of laughs, and a great chance to catch up with old friends.

This month, the Northern Cambridge Unit hosted its annual Picnic and this year mixed things up with a Boat Launch.

Bringing together members, families, and friends for a great day of laughs, food, and fun.
