Gonna be straight with you: summer's not the best time for major tree trimming in Missouri. Trees are actively growing, sap's flowing, and cutting into them now can stress them out or make them vulnerable to disease. That said, if you've got dead branches, storm damage, or something that's creating a safety hazard, we're not gonna tell you to wait. Safety comes first. But if you're just looking to shape things up or do maintenance pruning, late fall or early spring is better for the tree. We'll still do the work if you need it done now, but we'll also tell you the best time to schedule it if you can wait. That's how Greg Bailey Tree Service operates — honest advice, even if it means waiting a few months for the job. Call (816) 261-3411 if you've got questions about timing.
