This farmhouse transformation is one we’ve been excited to share! 🏡

What started as an older farmhouse became a complete whole-home remodel, including a two-story addition with a new primary suite, additional bedroom, bathroom, and office.

But as much as this project was about adding space and updating the home, it was also about keeping the character that was already there. We preserved original woodwork wherever we could, recreated trim to match, refinished the existing hardwood floors, and even modified the original staircase railing rather than replacing it.

The end result is a home that looks and functions very differently- but still feels like the farmhouse it has always been.

If you've never watched tile go in, it probably looks like someone is just setting rectangles on the floor.

In reality, every tile is part of a giant puzzle. The layout has to work with the room, the walls, the cabinetry, the lighting, and even the plumbing. A few inches at the start can make all the difference at the finish.

It's one of those details you'll never think about once your home is complete—which means we did our job.
