We’re building a custom Murphy bed enclosure, taking it from bare framing to a finished, trimmed-out nook, plus a custom shelving unit to match. That soft green with the brass shelf standards is already making us so happy. 💚

This powder room started with [stripped wallpaper and patchy walls]. We [repaired and prepped the walls], then went all in: deep green on the walls, trim, and ceiling for a moody, wrapped-in-color look.

The finishing touch? That gorgeous antique mirror. Small rooms are the perfect place to take a design risk, and this one paid off!

Michigan winter is coming. Is your house ready? ❄️🍂

Here's the quick version of your pre-winter checklist:

✅ Gutters: Clear them once most leaves have fallen so water drains away from your foundation instead of freezing into ice dams.
✅ Outdoor spigots: Disconnect hoses and shut off the water to exterior faucets so pipes don't freeze and burst inside your walls.
✅ Windows and doors: Look for cracked or missing caulk and reseal on a dry day while it's still warm enough to cure.
✅ Weatherstripping: Close a door on a piece of paper. If it slides out easily, it's time to replace.
✅ Deck: Sweep off leaves, check for soft boards, and give the railings a shake before snow sits on it all winter.
