Power House Home Energy - Long Island Solar, roofing & heat pumps for Long Island & NY homes. Rooted in Saint James. 30-year warranty, up to 13 financing paths available.

There are far more benefits to owning your solar.. A solar lease or PPA offers very little in savings for a homeowner and offers great profits to the lease or PPA company. Current incentives pay for about 1/2 an average system... We can offer you low fixed rate financing with no out of pocket expense...

The most powerful source of energy isn't the sun. It's trust.
At Power House we start with your energy reality: what years of rising PSEG bills will really cost. Then we show you the alternative, and you decide, with straight talk, no sales gimmicks and no pressure.

Don't take our word for it. Our five-star reviews say the same things again and again: honest, patient, explained everything, never pushed. It's why we have an 86% referral rate, and why we'll never take your trust for granted.

Own a business or commercial building on Long Island? The 30% federal solar credit is still available for businesses, but most new systems need to be running by December 31, 2027. Non-profits and houses of worship can even get the credit as a cash payment. Smithtown Kia's flat-roof system, installed by our exclusive installation partner Greenleaf Solar, went in without a single hole in the roof. Hi neighbors, Steve here from Power House Home Energy in Saint James. With oil season starting, a quick heads-up: PSEG Long Island currently offers $4,000 to $7,500 in rebates for whole-home heat pumps, and you can keep your oil system as backup. Paired with solar, many homes cut their electric and oil bills almost entirely. If you'd like your numbers, send me your PSEG and oil bills and I'll run them for free: https://www.powerhouseli.com/heatpump-facts

Heating oil is up. PSEG is up. Gas is up. And a lot of Long Island homeowners are asking themselves the same question right now: how am I going to afford to heat my home this winter?

Here's the part most people miss — you have a choice. You can opt out of the constant increases, and our Participate program makes it possible: it lowers your investment by 25 to 35%. For a lot of families, opting out now could be the strongest financial move they make in their lifetime.

Solar, or solar paired with a heat pump, is how you take control of your energy future — for this winter and every one after it.

Watch the video, then let's talk 👇

Heating oil in New York just hit $6.14 a gallon — up 6.9% in a single week, and up 66% from a year ago, when it was $3.70. On Long Island specifically, it's already at $6.24.

If you watched the federal solar tax credit expire on December 31st of last year and decided to wait it out, this is the moment that decision gets expensive. Oil prices don't care that the tax credit is gone — they're just going up, and winter hasn't even started yet.

Here's the thing: the tax credit ending isn't the dead end it looked like. Pairing solar with a heat pump does something oil can't — it removes you from this market entirely. No more watching a price snapshot update every week wondering how high it'll go. No more deliveries. And with today's Participate Energy programs offering 25-35% off right off the top, the incentive gap the tax credit left behind is already filled.

Energy independence isn't a slogan. It's the difference between being a spectator to fuel prices and being unaffected by them.

Don't let this be another winter where you watch the fuel prices climb again. Let's see what solar and a heat pump would look like for your home — before the cold hits, not after.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another 5-Star Power House Customer!

When someone does their homework, speaks with multiple solar companies, asks the tough questions—and then chooses Power House—that means a lot to us.

Sid described himself as a “very careful buyer” who spoke with solar companies nationwide before making his decision.

What ultimately made the difference?

✅ Complete transparency
✅ Outstanding communication
✅ A clear explanation of the system, design & economics
✅ No sales pressure
✅ Support that continues after installation

Sid said it best:

“If you want straight answers and a true partner in going solar, I highly recommend Steve!”

Thank you, Sid, for trusting Power House Home Energy with your home. And a big thank-you to the GreenLeaf Solar installation team for another seamless installation.

We’ve always believed that homeowners don’t need to be “sold” solar. They need good information, honest numbers, and someone they can trust to help them make the right decision for their home.

Trust is the most powerful source of energy.
