Last week, we had the privilege of attending the 2025 ASID Wisconsin Design Excellence Awards. We were honored to submit two projects this year - Alabaster Suite, which received Silver in Residential Bath, and Cream & Maple, which received Gold in Residential Kitchen!
We’re incredibly grateful for this recognition and want to thank and the Patcraft team for inviting us to join them for such a wonderful evening. It was inspiring to be surrounded by so many outstanding residential and commercial projects and talented designers.
We left the night feeling inspired, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead!

So this is love ✨

We can’t get over this beautiful bathroom remodel we are calling The Farwell Curve. The soft curve of the vanity, arched shower opening and niche add so much sweetness. We love the little custom tile florets and the mix of polished nickel and brass finishes. We were able to reuse an original door to preserve the character and charm of this historic home. We maximized every inch of this space for storage and functionality. The handmade light blue tile mixed with the soft white of the rest of the space is absolutely stunning and classic. We’re excited to introduce our new Italian bar and lounge, just two blocks south of Santino’s Little Italy.

Calogero’s will feature craft cocktails, an exceptional wine selection, and Italian small plates in a warm, old-world setting.

With over 25 years of industry experience, she brings the drive, creativity, and attention to detail that fits right in with how we approach every project. Just as importantly, Julie brings a personality that aligns seamlessly with our core values at MKE Design Build. She is highly respected within the design community, known for her professionalism, depth of experience, and the strong relationships she’s built throughout her career.

To celebrate Women in Construction Week, we gathered for a fun evening together at our co-owner and lead designer’s home. Grateful for this amazing group and everything they contribute to our team and our industry!

Our Weatherstone kitchen remodel pairs cream upper cabinets with rich cherry base cabinets for a balanced and timeless look. Quartz countertops and backsplash with a matching shelf at the stove keep the space feeling light and allows for easy cleanup.

Brass knurled hardware adds elegance, while a pull-out mixer stand keeps baking essentials easily accessible and off the counter. A charging station drawer ensures everyday must haves stay powered and tucked away.

This kitchen is full of function and everyday convenience for this busy family.
