After 37 years with Design Electric, Todd Miller is officially hanging up his hard hat and heading into retirement!

Todd is one of the hardest-working and smartest guys around, with a quick wit, a great sense of humor, and a swear-jar vocabulary!! 😂

For nearly four decades, Todd has been an important part of the Design Electric family, and we're incredibly grateful for his knowledge, dedication, and countless contributions over the years.

Todd, thank you for everything you've done for Design Electric. You've certainly left your mark, and you will be missed!

Here's to fewer early mornings, more time on the water fishing, and being able to say whatever the hell you want! 🎣

📍 Project Spotlight: Wadena, MN

Wadena has long been a transportation crossroads, with U.S. Highways 10 and 71 intersecting right in the community.

Design Electric recently completed electrical work in downtown Wadena, helping improve traffic safety and visibility in this important transportation hub. Our crews installed new traffic signals, flashers, and street lighting, working alongside other contractors to complete the project safely and efficiently.

We’re proud to play a part in improving the infrastructure that keeps Minnesota communities moving. ⚡🚦

🚧 Project Spotlight: Waite Park Public Safety Facility

Our team is making great progress on the Waite Park Public Safety Facility, a 75,000-square-foot remodel and addition to the existing Waite Park City Hall.

Construction began in late summer 2025 and is on track for completion this fall. Once finished, the facility will bring together the Waite Park Fire Department, Police Department, and City officials under one roof.

Cory Popp and crew are currently working through finishes and heading into the home stretch!

For over a quarter century, Design Electric has been proud to support our local business community, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to the growth of Central Minnesota. This recognition reflects not only our commitment to the Chamber, but also our belief that strong partnerships help create stronger businesses and stronger communities.

Project Spotlight: FDA Project Dragon 🐉

We're proud to spotlight our latest work with First District Association (FDA), a valued partner of Design Electric for more than 10 years.

FDA is an independent dairy cooperative committed to innovation, producing high-quality cheese and dairy ingredients from fresh, locally sourced milk. Their products are trusted by leading brands around the world.

Project Dragon is an exciting expansion that will significantly increase FDA's milk intake capacity. The project includes the installation of several new milk storage silos, helping support future growth while continuing to deliver the quality FDA is known for.

We're grateful for the opportunity to be part of another successful project with a long-standing partner!
