Wednesday — Goodbye September / Hurricane Season Check-In ⛈️

September is wrapping up—but hurricane season isn't. 🌴⛈️

It's easy to start letting your guard down as we head into October, but Atlantic hurricane season officially continues through November 30.

So before we say goodbye to September, here's your reminder:

✔️ Keep gutters and drainage areas clear
✔️ Secure loose outdoor items when storms approach
✔️ Pay attention to new ceiling stains or signs of moisture
✔️ Check your property after periods of heavy wind or rain
✔️ Don't climb onto a wet or potentially damaged roof yourself

And remember: storm damage isn't always obvious from the ground.

We're ready for cooler weather, but we're not putting hurricane season behind us just yet. 😉

Good roofs are great. Good neighbors are even better. 💙

Today is National Good Neighbor Day, and it's a good reminder of just how much of our business comes from something we never take for granted: neighbors recommending us to neighbors.

We've had the opportunity to work on homes right next door to one another, return to the same neighborhoods for different families, and meet new customers simply because someone nearby said, “Call Safe Haven.”

For a local company, that kind of trust means everything.

Florida said, “Fall? Never heard of her.” 😂🌴

The calendar may say fall, but here in Northeast Florida, we're still dealing with sunshine, heat, afternoon storms, and plenty of humidity.

While we're waiting on those cooler temperatures, fall is still a great reminder to give the exterior of your home a little attention.

Check those gutters, trim back overhanging branches, take a look around for anything that seems out of place—and if you notice something on your roof, leave the climbing to a professional.

Today, we remember the lives that were lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and ordinary Americans who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their memory and remember the strength, sacrifice, and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

May we never forget those who didn't make it home, those who ran toward danger to help others, and all those who continue to carry the impact of that day.

A new month is here, and while Florida may not exactly be giving us fall weather just yet 😅, September means we’re officially heading into the final stretch of the year!
