❓ Does a metal roof attract lightning?
No. Metal roofing does not attract lightning. If lightning strikes, metal is actually a non-combustible material that safely disperses energy.

Here are four we hear all the time:

❓ How long does a shingle roof last?
Most architectural shingle roofs last 20–30 years, depending on the product, installation quality, ventilation, and Florida's weather.

❓ Can I replace just a few shingles?
Sometimes. Small repairs are possible if the damage is isolated and matching shingles are available.

❓ Will a new roof lower my insurance?
In many cases, it can. Some insurance companies offer discounts for newer roofs that meet current building codes. Check with your insurance provider to see what may apply.

❓ How do I know it's time to replace my roof?
Missing shingles, repeated repairs, leaks, granule loss, or a roof nearing the end of its expected life are all signs it's time to have it evaluated.
