and many more, including Best of St. Augustine in the category of Home Improvements for the last 3 years in a row! Augustine’s Highest Rated Certified Roofing Contractor. If you have a roofing product installed on your home by a contractor who is not certified by the product manufacturer, any product warranty you think you may have is likely to be invalid! Building materials and product manufacturers take steps to ensure their products are installed properly by trained and licensed contractors who are up to date on the latest installation methods and techniques. They require these top contractors to be certified, then regularly updated and renewed. At Fidus, we are fully trained and certified by each of the manufacturers we represent, GAF, Seal-o-Flex and Gulf Coast Metal Roof. We are one of the few roofing contractors in Florida with all of these certifications. This is important for two reasons. First, your manufacturer product warranties will only be honored if the installation is performed by a certified contractor like Fidus. Otherwise, you may find yourself with no protection or recourse should a problem occur. The materials used in your project are fully protected by valid manufacturer warranties when you choose The Fidus Group for your next home improvement project. Second, by installing products and materials from a few different major manufacturers, Fidus has become one of the only St. Augustine roofers to offer you such a wide choice of roofing options.
