Another roof dried in and ready for shingles! 🏠🔨
Atlas synthetic underlayment is down, peel-and-stick is installed at the roof-to-wall areas and valleys, valley metal and drip edge are on, and our chalk lines are snapped. Now the guys are ready to start firing off shingles!
On this roof, we’re installing Atlas Pinnacle® Sun reflective shingles, designed to reflect more of the sun’s energy and help reduce heat transfer into the attic.
But the shingles are only one part of the system. When reflective shingles are paired with proper attic insulation, balanced intake ventilation at the soffits, and proper exhaust ventilation at the ridge, the entire roofing and attic system can work together to help reduce cooling demands and potentially lower energy costs.
At Lighthouse Roofing, we also use manufacturer system components—including underlayment, starter shingles, ventilation, hip & ridge shingles, and other required accessories—to qualify the roof for the applicable manufacturer-backed warranty.
