Dropped my biggest pot so far into the electric whirlpool bath at daylight this morning. 15 gallon double gate marked. Gonna see how it turns out then keep it or sell it.

FYI , I can clean those forgotten and abused Blackstone tops up to 36" either clean and you season it or I can re-season it too.

I will say to compare an old vintage Griswold or other it first has to be in tip top condition and properly restored 100% to make it a true comparison. I been wanting to buy me a newer modern skillet and was looking at Smithy, Field Company and Fredericksburg. This gives me pause because my personally restored 3 notch Lodges work pretty good.

One more item off of the list of things I wanted for my collection. Shallow BSR fry pan. Thanks to my wonderful wife who even though she's not feeling well keeps an eye on Facebook marketplace for me.

If you are cleaning a skillet for someone else, if they are giving you a few bucks , or it's for family, you put the same effort and attention to detail to these little modern lodge 5s as you would to a $300 vintage skillet.
