🏗️ Project Update: Cobram Estate Olive Expansion

Progress continues in Woodland, CA, where we're constructing a 12,000-square-foot expansion for one of Northern California's leading producers of extra virgin olive oil.

The structural steel framing is now complete, and our crews have moved on to installing insulated metal panels (IMPs). These specialized wall systems provide outstanding energy efficiency while delivering a clean, finished appearance both inside and out.

This project comes with unique challenges, including an L-shaped building design and integration with the existing facility, but that's exactly where careful planning and coordination make all the difference.

Next up: completing the wall installation and moving on to roofing.

Project update from Woodland, CA 📍

We’re proud to be helping Cobram Estate expand one of Northern California’s largest extra virgin olive oil production facilities with a new 12,000 sq. ft. metal building addition.

This project includes several unique engineering and coordination challenges, including:
• An L-shaped building design
• Single-slope and gable roof integration
• Tie-in work to an existing facility
• Existing footing and roof-to-wall coordination
• Seismic separation requirements

Our team is currently erecting steel and coordinating loading dock and dock leveler installation as work continues on-site.

At Fabri-Steel West, detailed front-end planning and coordination are a critical part of delivering complex metal building projects successfully.

Another project underway.

John checks in from PSM Monuments on Auburn Blvd., where a new 30’ x 75’ facility is currently in the framing stage. This building is being designed to support both fabrication and storage operations as the company expands into its new location.

The project also includes a large canopy area, roll-up doors, partition walls, and dedicated workspaces tailored to their operation.

John walks through this 10,000 sq. ft. expansion for Armstrong Manufacturing & Engineering, a second-generation business producing precision components for industries including aircraft, helicopters, and submarines.

This pre-engineered metal building was designed to help increase production capacity while allowing for speed, efficiency, and flexibility throughout the construction process.
