Last week, our Mission Critical team served dinner and breakfast to the teachers and staff at Okmulgee Primary, Dunbar, and High School. We partnered with Coleman’s Burgers and Bakery for dinner, and Daylight Donuts made sure everyone started the next day with a good breakfast.

Showing up for the communities where we live and work is what we’re all about, and we’re proud of our team for supporting Okmulgee Public Schools.

40 for 40 Spotlight: Columbus, Ohio 🏗️

The Columbus team is known for its commitment to relationships and getting it right. As Operations Manager Matt Heater puts it: “Forty years at Alston is a testament to our people. It’s the character, passion, and transparency we bring to every relationship. Here’s to the people who built this company and to the next forty years.”

The team is in various stages of completion on 2.5 million SF of warehouse space for four developers. They give back through multiple organizations and are active members of CREDA Central Ohio and other groups across the region. The Ohio group has also been recognized by Columbus Business First for its work on the Columbus Castings and Core5 Eastpoint Building 1 projects. Flip through to read more about this all-star group!

Alston Construction is proud to serve as general contractor on Atlas Copco Group’s new 355,000 SF North American Service Center in Lancaster County, South Carolina.

The custom-built facility will support Atlas Copco’s logistics and service operations across North America, with advanced robotics and automation, energy-efficient design, and modern office space. Alston Construction has been named a Best Place to Work each year since 2014. So far this year, our New Jersey team placed 2nd in the NJBIZ Large Company category (250+ employees), and our Nor-Cal team was honored by the Sacramento Business Journal.

With 20 offices nationwide and teams across Mission Critical, Cold Storage, Amazon, our warehousing and manufacturing work, and more builds, we wouldn’t be where we are without the people who build with us every day.

University of Houston students on-site! 🦺

Our Texas team hosted over 20 students for a job walk at our H Mart project in Houston, TX. The project includes automation and cold storage, and the students saw firsthand how a freezer and cooler facility is built.

Project Manager Jasper Ybarra, a UH alum, and Superintendent Alex Floyd led a first-class presentation and walked the group through the build.
